Assessment
– Professional Foundation –
Panchakarma is the classical Ayurvedic cleansing, unburdening, and rebalancing process. It is more than a series of treatments: a personalized, carefully structured therapeutic path that can support the slowing down, rest, and regeneration of the body, senses, and mind alike.
Every Panchakarma program is preceded by a detailed Ayurvedic assessment. Ajay Singh, BAMS Ayurvedic expert, determines the duration, treatment direction, and daily rhythm of the process, taking into account individual condition, lifestyle, and personal needs. The treatments are performed by our trained Ayurvedic therapists based on the professional guidelines he has established, accompanying the guest from preparation through the treatment phase to gradual closure and restoration.
Prakriti and vikriti
We start from the difference between individual constitution and current imbalance.
Dosha Balance
The treatment direction is shaped by the current dosha pattern and capacity together.
Agni and ama
We also consider digestive strength, eating rhythm, and current stress levels.
Bala and Ojas
We also review energy levels, sleep, and regenerative capacity.
– HOW IS PANCHAKARMA STRUCTURED AT SURYA? –
Panchakarma at Surya is not a pre-packaged treatment bundle. Every process begins with an Ayurvedic assessment and is tailored to individual condition. The type, sequence, and duration of treatments may vary from guest to guest.
1. Purvakarma
The first step is the Ayurvedic assessment, where Ajay Singh thoroughly reviews your current condition, lifestyle, and goals. Based on this, a personalized treatment plan is created, along with recommendations for program duration and daily rhythm.
2. Pradhanakarma
During the program, Ayurvedic treatments follow one another according to the individual plan. The process may also include conscious shaping of rest, meals, and daily routine alongside the treatments.
3. Paschatkarma
Panchakarma does not end with the final treatment. At the end of the program, we review the experience, and if needed, you receive lifestyle and treatment recommendations to support the process at home.
– THOUGHTFUL PROCESS –
Sometimes a single Ayurvedic treatment is enough to pause, recharge, and step away from daily stress. In other life situations, however, you may need more time, sequential treatments, and a more conscious daily rhythm.
Panchakarma may be considered when you want to truly dedicate a few days to regeneration, and you’re looking not for a pre-packaged program, but for a process tailored to your current state.
With constant rushing, little rest, and sustained tension, a single session often provides only a brief pause. Panchakarma can offer several sequential days for slowing down and relieving the burden.
It may happen that despite resting, you don’t feel truly recharged, or after a demanding period you want to gradually return to a more ordered rhythm.
Panchakarma is not only about the time spent in treatments. The process includes rest, simpler eating, reshaping daily routine, and taking on less stress for a few days.
Before a new phase, seasonal transition, or conscious lifestyle change, a process that offers not only treatments but also personalized guidance can be helpful.
Panchakarma may also be considered by guests who have already had an assessment or treatments, and now want to move toward a longer, more comprehensive Ayurvedic process.
– PANCHAKARMA YEAR-ROUND –
Panchakarma is available year-round at the Surya Ayurveda Center. The program structure is always shaped by the Ayurvedic assessment, your individual condition, and the characteristics of the season. Therefore, there is no single “right time” – the appropriate time is when it makes sense to begin the process based on your current state and life situation.
– Durations, Prices –
Panchakarma is available in 3, 5, 7, 14, or 21-day durations. We recommend the appropriate length for you based on the Ayurvedic assessment.

– OUTPATIENT PANCHAKARMA ADAPTED TO YOUR LIFE RHYTHM –
Surya’s Panchakarma programs are conducted on an outpatient basis. This means you can return home after treatments, rest in your own environment, while receiving professional support throughout.
For many guests, this is more comfortable and easier to integrate into daily life, while rest and conscious reduction of stress remain important throughout the process.
✓ You can rest in your own environment
✓ No residential stay required
✓ More flexible scheduling
✓ The program is accompanied by personal professional guidance throughout
– Personalized Process –
The effects experienced during Panchakarma may vary from person to person and depend greatly on current condition, lifestyle, and the structure of the program.
Many experience Panchakarma not merely as a cleansing process, but as a kind of reordering—a period in which the body can unburden itself, the mind can slow down, and attention can turn again toward inner balance.
Guests frequently report the following changes:
01
The goal of Panchakarma is to support the body’s natural cleansing processes and help release accumulated burden.
02
According to Ayurveda, one of the foundations of health is strong, balanced digestion. Panchakarma also focuses on supporting agni, the digestive fire.
03
The process not only cleanses but also rebuilds. Its goal is to support life force, resilience, and inner stability.
04
The multi-day rhythm, warm oil treatments, and rest can help calm the nervous system.
05
After Panchakarma, many report a clearer, lighter bodily sensation and more organized energy levels.
06
The Ayurvedic perspective does not separate body and mind. The goal of Panchakarma is the subtle reordering of inner balance.
07
Inner cleansing and regeneration may also manifest in the skin, face, and overall radiance.

You don’t have to guess which of the 3, 5, 7, 14, or 21-day programs to choose: Ajay will recommend the appropriate length for you.
Panchakarma is not just about the treatments. Rest, simpler meals, reduced stress, and home routine together support the process and gradual return.
Closing the Panchakarma is just as important as the preparation and treatment days.
At the end of the program, there is a closing consultation where we review the experience and recommendations for the next period. If needed, follow-up, further treatment, or lifestyle support at home may also be part of the process.
