The best massage of my life. The warm oil, the atmosphere, the precision—everything was perfect. I've been struggling with sleep disorders for years, and the night after abhyanga I slept 8 hours straight.
Abhyanga is Ayurveda's 5,000-year-old "royal" treatment: warm herbal oil tailored to your dosha, 7 body positions, slow rhythm—ending with svedana, Indian steam therapy. Not a spa massage. Healing.
Szentendre and Budapest · appointments available even this afternoon

If you nod to even two of these, it's no coincidence you're here. Your body has been signaling for a long time—and abhyanga is one of the oldest, most precise responses humanity has ever created.
A weekend break won't solve this.
Abhyanga will—it initiates the process after the first session, reverses it within 3–5 sessions.
Not marketing copy. These are what guests say while sipping tea in the relaxation room at the end of their treatment.
A classical Ayurvedic abhyanga unfolds in 5 steps. Not a "massage"—more like a mini-ritual that recalibrates your body's nervous system, cells, and skin simultaneously.
Brief dosha assessment: what is your type (vata, pitta, kapha), what are your concerns, where is the focus. Based on this, we select the oil and pace.
10 minutesThe herbal oil tailored to your dosha is warmed to body temperature. Only natural ingredients—no synthetic fragrances.
5 minutes7 body positions, in traditional sequence, with rhythmic and long strokes. Upon request, synchronized abhyanga: two therapists simultaneously, in mirror movements.
35–95 minutesIndian herbal steam therapy: warm steam penetrates the oiled body, opening the pores and allowing the oil to absorb into deeper tissue layers.
15 minutesQuiet relaxation room, herbal tea, and a few personalized recommendations for home. This is when you usually say, "I haven't felt like this in so long."
10 minutesA 5★ hotel spa in Budapest or Vienna sells its "abhyanga-style oil massage" for 35,000–45,000 HUF. Yet the content is lacking in many ways compared to what you receive here.

All three packages include svedana, consultation, and home recommendations. If you're uncertain, start with 90 minutes—this is where you truly feel the difference compared to an ordinary massage.
If after the final touch you feel "this wasn't worth it"—mention it at reception, and you'll receive the full amount back. No fine print, no dispute, no "administrative fee."
In 17 years, very few have used it—because we know what we're doing. But you deserve the security of not having to lie on the table blindly.
At first I was afraid it would be "just another wellness massage." After the first 10 minutes, I knew this was completely different. That night I slept 9 hours straight—for the first time in months. — Recurring guest feedback

I visited the Szentendre salon, and every time I went home feeling as if I'd been on vacation for weeks. Zsófia and her team are completely professional, their knowledge far exceeds that of an average wellness place.

As a man, I dared to try it, and I didn't regret it. Office-related lower back pain noticeably eased after one session, and practically disappeared after 3 sessions. The money-back guarantee gave me the courage to take the first step.

The 90-minute package is the best money I've ever spent on myself. The oil, the svedana, the tea—everything is authentic, original Indian. My skin looked for days as if it had been rejuvenated. I regularly purchase gift vouchers here as well.

After two childbirths, I couldn't find my way back to my own body—abhyanga solved it. Not just a massage: it's as if someone gave you back control over your body. Consultation and 5 sessions—I became a new person.

It may sound cliché, but it truly "gave me my life back." I went there with chronic stress and burnout symptoms—after 4 sessions I recognized myself again. The Budapest salon is calm, quiet, authentic.

"Abhyanga is not a luxury. In Hungary it has been sold as luxury for years—we're returning it to its original place, among everyday healing."
If you don't find the answer, call us—we'll personally help you decide which package suits you.
Swedish massage focuses on physical release of muscles, alternating between slow and fast movements. Abhyanga works with slow, rhythmic, long strokes using warm herbal oil—its goal is to switch the nervous system to "rest and digest" mode, cellular-level regeneration, and cleansing of marma points (Ayurvedic pressure points).
In short: Swedish massage relaxes muscles, abhyanga calms the entire system. Different goal, different tool, different result.
We provide disposable undergarments for the duration of treatment. The rest of the body is covered throughout with disposable sheets and towels—only the area being treated is visible. Discreet, professional protocol, as practiced in India.
Abhyanga is extremely safe, but in a few cases we ask you to postpone or consult your doctor first:
· during the first trimester of pregnancy,
· after recent surgery (at least 6 weeks of rest),
· in case of acute fever, infection, or inflammatory condition,
· after a fresh tattoo (at least 4 weeks),
· with severe heart, liver, or kidney disease without medical consultation.
Most guests experience a deep sense of release by the end of treatment, in the relaxation room. That night they typically sleep much more deeply. You'll feel the real difference after the 3rd–5th session: your sleep-wake rhythm stabilizes, stress tolerance increases, skin becomes radiant.
Even one session is a complete treatment—many guests come occasionally just to "come back to themselves." For chronic stress, sleep disorders, burnout, a 3–7 session series is most effective (1–2 sessions per week). We'll discuss this during consultation—you don't need to decide in advance.
Before: Do not eat heavy food within 2 hours—light meals and plenty of water are best. Coffee is fine, but not immediately before treatment.
After: Drink warm water and herbal tea. Avoid cold drinks and heavy, raw foods that day—your body continues working on the treatment for 24–48 hours.
Yes—abhyanga doesn't sedate, it only relaxes. After a 10–15 minute quiet rest in the relaxation room, you're fully capable of driving. Many people come from Budapest to Szentendre during lunch break and return afterward.
Yes. During consultation we discuss the focus, and the therapist adjusts the rhythm of the 7 body positions, oil selection, and pace accordingly. For chronic complaints, we recommend the 90–120 minute package.
Yes, Ayurvedic gift vouchers in decorative boxes are available for all three packages (60 / 90 / 120 minutes). You can order them on Surya's contact page, we'll mail them or they can be picked up in person.
Not mandatory—if you're claustrophobic or don't like heat, we can skip it. However, we recommend it: svedana completes the abhyanga effect, as the warm steam allows the active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the oiled body.
We'll discuss which salon, which time, and which package suits you. No obligation, and we won't pressure you into sales.
