Its value was measured by its weight! <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ayurveda has known the power of pepper for millennia! Due to its qualities of <em>Ushna<\/em> (heating), <em>Katu<\/em> (pungent taste), and <em>Laghu<\/em> (light), it excellently stimulates <em>agni<\/em> (digestive fire), helps in the removal of toxins, and is particularly beneficial for balancing Kapha and Vata doshas.
